Mahapola Trust Fund Launches New Online System for University Students

The Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund has introduced a new information system to provide university students with easier access to information about their Mahapola scholarship payments.

Chairman of the Mahapola Trust Fund and retired Supreme Court Justice Vijith Malalgoda said the new system has been introduced to improve access to information related to the disbursement of scholarship funds.

Mahapola Scholarship Information Available Online

Under the new system, university students will be able to check information relating to their Mahapola scholarship payments and other relevant details online.

The system is scheduled to become accessible to students from this month through the official Mahapola website.

Students can access the service through www.mahapola.lk.

The initiative is expected to make it easier for students to obtain information about their scholarship payments without having to rely solely on traditional administrative channels.

The Mahapola scholarship programme provides financial assistance to eligible Sri Lankan university students to support their higher education.
