Four Senior Deputy Inspectors General and Six ASPs Transferred

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Police Headquarters has announced the immediate transfer of four Senior Deputy Inspectors General of Police (SDIGs) and six Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs).

Police said the transfers were carried out with the approval of the National Police Commission.

The four Senior Deputy Inspectors General of Police transferred are W.K. Jayalath, W.S.E. Jayasundara, U.P.A.D.K.P. Karunanayake and G.M.H.B. Siriwardena.

Meanwhile, the six Assistant Superintendents of Police transferred are C.A.B. Jayasundara, A.D. Seneviratne, A.P.N.S.S. Perera, W.A.K.I.P. Premathilaka, D.M.S.P.K. Dissanayake and N.P. Thushantha.

According to Police Headquarters, all the transfers have taken effect immediately.

The latest changes come as part of administrative arrangements within the Sri Lanka Police, with the National Police Commission approving the transfers.

Further details regarding the new assignments of the transferred senior police officers have not been disclosed.
