Island-Wide Anti-Drug Operation Set to Begin on Thursday

An island-wide anti-drug operation will begin on Thursday, October 30, as announced by Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala. The operation, named “Nation United – National Drive,” will be launched at 10:00 a.m. at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The initiative aims to tackle the growing issue of drug abuse across the country. The National Council on Drug Abuse, along with district councils, regional councils, and public security committees, will collaborate to execute this extensive program nationwide.
