Over 26kg of Ice and Heroin Seized in Kiribathgoda and Panadura Drug Raids
Sri Lanka Police have arrested two suspects and seized more than 26 kilograms of narcotics, including ice (crystal methamphetamine) and heroin, during separate anti-drug operations carried out in Kiribathgoda and Panadura.

According to police, officers attached to the Colombo Crime Division arrested a suspect during a raid conducted in Dippitigoda, Kiribathgoda, on information received last night.
During the operation, officers recovered 6 kilograms and 96 grams of ice and 2 kilograms and 70 grams of heroin from the suspect’s possession.
Police also seized 5,000 narcotic pills during the raid.
The arrested suspect is a 31-year-old resident of Dippitigoda, and further investigations are underway to determine whether he is linked to a wider drug trafficking network.
Separate Drug Bust in Panadura
Meanwhile, police carried out another successful anti-narcotics operation in Alubomulla, Panadura, where a second suspect was arrested with more than 18 kilograms of ice.
Authorities said the suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Panadura Magistrate’s Court today.
Sri Lanka Police continue to intensify anti-drug operations across the country as part of ongoing efforts to combat the trafficking and distribution of illegal narcotics.
