Colombo High Court Sets Pre-Trial Date in Namal Rajapaksa ‘Krrish’ Money Laundering Case
The Colombo High Court has ordered that the case filed by the Attorney General against Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa, over the controversial ‘Krrish’ project, be taken up for a pre-trial conference on December 18.
When the case was called today, MP Namal Rajapaksa appeared before court, according to Ada Derana reporter.

Following a review of the case, the High Court also directed that the original case report from the Fort Magistrate’s Court be summoned.
The Attorney General has filed the case alleging that MP Namal Rajapaksa violated the Prevention of Money Laundering Act by receiving Rs. 70 million from Indian company ‘Krrish’, under the guise of promoting rugby in Sri Lanka.
