Shooting Incident Reported at Wellampitiya Lodge

A shooting incident in Wellampitiya was reported early this morning (25) at a lodge in the Kittampahuwa area.

Police said the attack targeted two individuals staying at the lodge. The gunmen, who arrived on a motorcycle, had used a pistol-type firearm to carry out the shooting.

Fortunately, police confirmed that no fatalities or injuries were reported in connection with the incident. Investigations are currently underway to identify the suspects.
