BREAKING: Former Intelligence Chief Suresh Sallay Arrested Over Easter Sunday Attacks

Former Director General of the State Intelligence Service, Major General (Retired) Suresh Sallay, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.

Police sources confirmed that a special CID team carried out the arrest in the early hours of today (25) at Peliyagoda.

The arrest comes as part of the ongoing high-profile investigation into the Easter Sunday bombings that shook the country in 2019. Authorities say further investigations are underway, and more details are expected to be released shortly.
