A total of 15 people were injured this morning (16) in a collision between a private bus and a lorry at Epitawala, along the Horana–Ratnapura main road, police confirmed.

According to reports, the private bus was carrying employees of a company when it collided with the lorry. The injured passengers were rushed to the Idangoda and Ratnapura hospitals for treatment.

Kiriella Police have launched further investigations into the accident.
