Australian Governor General Samantha Joy Mostyn to Visit Sri Lanka

The Governor General of Australia, Samantha Joy Mostyn, is set to begin an official visit to Sri Lanka tomorrow. The visit will last until August 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism announced.

During her stay, Governor General Mostyn is expected to hold bilateral talks with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

She will also tour several Australian-supported projects in Bandaragama, Mirissa, and Weligama.

The visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore opportunities to expand collaboration for the mutual benefit of both nations, the Foreign Ministry added.
