Two Suspects Arrested Over Grandpass Shooting Incident
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the Grandpass shooting incident that left one person dead on the night of September 5.

Police said the shooting was carried out by two gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire near the Mahawatta clock tower in the Grandpass Police Division.
According to the Colombo North Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau, the suspects were apprehended yesterday (07) for allegedly aiding and abetting the crime.
The arrested suspects are 31 and 32 years old and are residents of Colombo 15, police confirmed.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Grandpass Police.
