Former Gotabaya Rajapaksa Secretary Sugeeshwara Bandara Remanded Until July 30
Sugeeshwara Lenin Bandara, who served as the personal secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has been further remanded over allegations of criminal misappropriation and misuse of funds allocated under the Presidential Expenditure Head.

The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena when the case was taken up before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today.
Allegations Over Presidential Funds
Bandara is facing allegations relating to the alleged misuse of funds allocated for expenses under the Presidential Expenditure Head during his tenure as personal secretary to the former President.
The court extended his remand period until July 30 as investigations into the allegations continue.
Further details regarding the investigations and legal proceedings are expected to be presented before court in due course.
