Litro Gas Lanka Announces No Price Revision for August
Litro Gas Lanka has announced that there will be no change in domestic LP gas prices for August 2026.
The company confirmed that the current prices of household gas cylinders will remain unchanged, providing stability for consumers during the month.
Domestic LP Gas Cylinder Prices Remain the Same
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5kg Litro gas cylinder will continue to remain at Rs. 4,465.
The prices of smaller cylinders will also remain unchanged:
- 5kg Litro gas cylinder: Rs. 1,792
- 2.3kg Litro gas cylinder: Rs. 835
Litro Gas Lanka stated that the existing pricing structure will continue to apply throughout August.
Consumers to Continue Purchasing at Current Rates
The decision means households and businesses using Litro LP gas will not face an additional financial burden from a price increase this month.
Gas prices in Sri Lanka are reviewed periodically based on factors including global LPG market prices, exchange rate fluctuations and other operational costs.
